"The next thing I'm going to go over is how to compress an apple loop. Now when looking at your track let's highlight just a regular loop by itself. What I'm going to do is I'm going to solo this part and play this loop. I'm going to play this one too. So what we're going to do is we're going to go over here and go to the dynamics and compressor. What I'm going to do is try to make this compressor to around negative six. We don't really want to gain reduction more than six. That's a good rule of thumb. What I will do is try to turn my ratio up to around four and bring my compressor threshold to where it doesn't really pass six. What I can also do is add auto release and change my tact a little bit sooner. What we can do is turn on the auto gain, actually I'll leave that off and just turn on the limiter and then un-solo it. And that's really it."
