"Now this guitar here, would be called a nylon string guitar due to the type of strings used on it, you'll also refer to is as a classical guitar. Now you'll notice on the other guitars it had a very bright sound kind of a tingy sound, this is a little bit more mellow. Now this guitar would be used for classical music either solo or with an orchestra. You also see it in flamenco music, that's the sound, very fast picking. Now you'll use the right hand rather than a pick. With most of these other guitars they're traditionally played with a pick and we'll talk about that later as well, but here it's more traditionally played with the thumb and the fingers. Now again, this guitar is technically an electric nylon because it's got the on board electronics and the output jack which allows you to put it into an amplifier but again since it's got a sound hole, you don't have to plug it in to get the best sound out of it."
