Shaping Lines on Glass Beads

"Alright in this clip now we are going to take our rad and we are going to attach a puntee to it and we are going to put the variations in our lines. This is what I was talking about earlier. We are going to take portions of it and we are going to spin them slightly and we are going to do them different ways up the road and we will get a pretty good effect on that. Pretty much the key on this one is you want to heat up really small portions of what we are doing of the rod here and basically spin them. You don't want to spin them too much but just enough to where you can see a variation in the pattern. We are going to attach this puntee on there. Alright let's see is it on there. Alright now we can get to work on doing that. I am going to turn the flame down here and we will start towards the bottom here and we will give it a nice little shift. We are going to heat that. Once we have got that nice and heated I am going to pull it out of the flame and twist it slight. With my right hand I am going to twist it to the left. See there is almost a slightly little twist there and we really haven't shifted what the whole thing here looks like, the rod and basically we are going to do that all the way up it and twist it an opposite way every other turn. We have moved up a little bit and on this next one I am going to twist it to my right, with my right hand."
