"In this clip we are going to apply color now to our mass of turbo cobalt. So basically I am just going to turn on the torch and we are going to take our silver striker here and we are going to make lines on it. Alright so we are going to want to go from top to bottom here so when we spin it the lines will all look intersecting like if you went like this and tried to spin it would look like that. We are going to go with a really small flame here. We are just going to go for two stripes on each side I think, that sounds about right. There are our first two and now we will move to our second two. You just want to remember to work with a really small flame here because you don't want your punchee to come off and you don't want you don't want to disfigure what you are working on. I think this is about right. I am going to do a quick little patch up on this side where we detached from the color just so we can add to more lines. My thing with lines is you just want to make sure whatever you do to one side you do to the other so we are also going to want to put a line on the sides. I think that will look pretty cool. Alright so we applied six lines on to our smooshed disc and now we are going to pop it back in the kiln and heat it up for our next stage."
