"In this clip we're going to talk about safety. Safety is really important when doing your glass working. Obviously you can tell I'm wearing the shades here. These are didymium lens and this is just like an element found in the Earth that they put in the lens to absorb the ultra, I'm not sure if there ultra violet lights but there very harmful light coming from the flame cause it burns so hot. And then from beyond that we got some ventilation here, we got some open windows. I have a couple fans going. Beyond that another thing that I upgraded with my set, when working with small particles of glass like frit and powder you probably wearing some sort of mask. Pop it over your face here. You're going to sound like Darth Vader. But that will help keep your lungs safe. And definitely have some water close by. That's what we got going in our little tin here. That and just make sure that you got the air flow, your eyes covered and your lungs taken care of; and you'll be all safe."
