Video Transcript

"Today, we're going to be making a chicken dish. We're going to be making a Thai-style chicken with basil. And, so, what're going to do is we're going to be putting salt and pepper on our chicken, we'll be cutting it into chunks and then we'll be sautéing it. We'll then be taking the chicken out and we'll be adding some garlic and a little bit of ginger. We're going to be using ginger powder and sort of fresh ginger and basil leaves along with some garlic and then we're going to add a little bit of soy sauce to that and we're going to put it right back in. And we're going to just let that simmer until it's all done. For our rice, we're going to be mixing together some cinnamon, along with some powdered ginger and some sugar. And we're going to be toasting our rice and we'll be adding a veggie stock to that and we'll be boiling it and then reducing it. And then stirring it up at the end again with a little bit of salt and pepper. And for our vegetables, we're going to be boiling a little bit of red pepper; some celery and then we're going to be sautéing some mushrooms and broccoli in soy sauce and ginger powder."
