"Alright, so let's take a look at one version of the Bio, or actually a portion of it. So we're dealing with Songo. The Bio is a foot pattern or specific rhythm that we're going to play with the bass drum. It looks and sounds like this. Okay once we have this together, what I'm already doing with the hi hat, which is counting out quarter notes. Now we're added, we're adding tricky little stuff with the left hand as a cross stick. All this tricky stuff really is just filling in the gaps where the bass drum is not playing."
