"This functional core exercise using the Bosu is called knee balance. Now, from the outside looking in, it doesn't look really difficult to perform, but when you get into those tiny little muscle fibers it's really going to make a big difference on how you function on a day-to-day basis. So we're really going to really challenge that balance. So, let's get into it. Simply come up to the dome, place your knees on top, center up, and then bring your feet up off the mat. When you feel comfortable simply come up to a kneeling position here. Now, think about drawing the abdominal muscles in. Pull the shoulders back and down, and then you can start to feel all those tiny little muscle fibers engage and fire and work to keep that balance. Now, let's challenge it even more. Take your hands, place them lightly behind your ears and then just gently twist, side, and then twist to the other side, and your body will begin to adjust to keep its balance. Then after about 30 seconds to a minute, then you can just rest. That is your knee balance exercise."
