"Next, we're going to attach this string because it needs to go about 25 feet down there. So I'm going to go ahead and attach this string onto this. That's what we're looking for. I'll just tie it a little bit better around here so it won?t come off. Okay. Then I will trim that excess. Actually I'll just tie it again because when they come onto the stairway it's about 20 feet down there so they need to be able to pull the string and turn that light on. Now all we need is a light bulb and we'll turn the breaker back on and then we'll test this and then this will be finished. Now we have turned the breakers back on which control the outlet. So now what we've done is we took off our old receptacle. We have replaced it and we put the new receptacle on and we put our bulb in and we test it. Yay! It works. And so now you know how to replace a porcelain receptacle."
