Even the slightest bang on that needle could tear the skin and cause pain and cause terrible work. So, you have to be very careful in handling this machine. From there I pull that skin very tight, and at a 45 degree angle, following the hairline, I proceed. Always asking the question, "How are you doing client?" "Fine." "Good, good." Because, if she's uncomfortable, I'm going to stop and reapply numbing agent and sit a minute because she shouldn't have to suffer to get this work done. Back I go, all the way in, toward the corner. I follow the hairline, I don't go beyond that, I like my work to be natural.
