"Konichiwa. This next technique is, again, Jadori. So, we're taking the Jo, the staff away. This is going to be a simple Kokyunage. We kind of did it with the sword, where we're entering on the inside, and then bring it to our center, and then slide through and throw. We'll do something very similar, and there will be a little variation. Okay? Konichiwa. So, let's do tsuki. So, Daniel's going to come and try to tsuki right in the center, so we're going to go in the inside. I want to enter in a little bit deeper, again, starting with my hands here. If Daniel tsukis, and I just stand here, normally I get hit. Okay? So, as he's coming in, I want to have a big grip, then clamp everything down. Okay? From here, I want to take this back hand, the one closest to Daniel, here. I want to push it down, pivot, and then slide forward. Okay? I don't want to be doing a pool cue kind of thing. That can put his wrist in the floor and keep his head closer to the mat, often times they end up hitting. So, we're going to go on the inside of the attack, start big and clamp down. Bring this one low, slide it through, make sure that this is taut. There's tension on this hand, and that's that the one we're going to throw with. It's not that I'm pushing or, or shoving. I just get this in front of my center and slide my hips. Okay? So, again. Enter, grab and cut down, slide through. Okay? So, that's the first Kokyunage. Let's do one other. As he enters, we get off line and enter. Okay. Say we can't push down, he's too strong. Let's try to get this away from him, then keep it high and then slide through. Same entry. Maybe we can't pull this down. Let's get this away. Don't yank. Keep this attached to your hips, turn your hips. See his arm is now extended and taut? Keep it taut as you tank on in, slide and cut."
