"This next technique, or kumi tachi, or paired exercise with the sword, is what we call in our dojo, misubi noken. This was developed by Saoto mi sensei, Saoto mi shihan, back in Japan, when he was teaching my master instructor Eoshi han, which he passed onto me. I don't see too many other people doing this yet today. It's evolved into many other forms in modern haikido technique, but this is probably pretty unique to our dojo. Again, we call this misubi noken."
