Next step is we're going to take a break from the cool colors. We're going to go to some warmer ones. Here's some of your Sienna color. I already put this on here. And we are going to mix it very liberally with our media. This is going to be an incredibly thin brown layer here. Very, very thin. It's not going to be a thick, thick layer by any means. So, once you have a nice thin media mixed layer of this we'll go back to the canvas. Taking a smaller flat brush and take our burnt umber mix here and we're going to spread it. Again, this is not going to be a super thick layer. What we're essentially going to do is outline. We're going to bring it up into these other colors. It's not going to look all the same color. You don't want them to be. It's not one uniform block for the most part. What you want to make sure that you have is you have the basic shape of the rock out cropping that's captured here. Take it down to the water. You know, have there be some mixing here. That looks like a reflection of the rocky out cropping now, doesn't it? That's what you want. Come back up over the top here. This is only the base layer. This is not the end all, be all. Also, make sure if you have any other out croppings over here that you have them here. That they're captured in this initial layer. Same situation, same deal. Just at least that the basic shape is captured. Again, take it down to the water. Come back over here with your flat head and when in doubt, go a little bit over the side with the bounds. It's OK with that. Have some more mixing. Now you have the most basic of shapes here and we have our entire base layer done. Now we can move on to more details and depth.
