"In this clip, we'll be adding the top coat or the finishing coat for the product. Well you've completed your switch plate and you're going to step back and take a look at it and be amazed at how well you've done. And I'm sure anyone who comes in and looks at it will be amazed at your handiwork. It should match beautifully and certainly be an upgrade to your home. You've colored everything appropriately and now you want to finish it off with a good top coat. And you should have bought this when you bought your paints, it's just a craft paint varnish. And it comes in a variety of finishes. As you can see here this is a stone, a matte finished stone, so I got a matte finish varnish. It comes in satins and high gloss depending on what, what stone you are working with. And you just put a little bit in your tray and apply it with a brush, and put a good coating on here, particularly on the edges where you might nick it with a cleaner from time to time, because you are in a cooking area. You want to protect that. And when you put it on your receptacle outlet area be sure that you keep your the little plug holes open as well as the screw hole. So that in case you need to remove it in the future you can do that. Put one or maybe two coats on it depending on how it looks and you?re done. And you've created a beautiful upgrade to your kitchen."
