"In this clip we're going to talk about painting methods and techniques. Up till now we've been talking specifically about this tumbled marble with the grout lines and it's all pretty neutral all pretty much a couple of colors. If we were to, to work on a surface like this, which is much a darker ground, a background with many other colors in it, you would want to create this look by using different tools. You might want to use a thicker heavy brush and put on a heavy dark coat, such as this, on the, for the base and then take your switch plate outside, outdoors and use a spatter technique using the many colors that are found in here and you can see by looking at these paints, I can get a pretty good match of the product with these paints. You just have to be ready to dip your paint brush in and just spatter and that's how you would get this kind of look. This faux finish technique you can use on almost any surface, any appearing surface, granite, marble and of course this is a Corian. And you can even match Corian. It doesn't even have to be a natural stone. Just using your paint colors and a, and a specific technique such as spattering you could get this done very easily."
