"Now we're going to talk about priming the switch plate cover and outlet receptacle. Okay, we're ready to prime. Once again you can use just your regular craft paint as a primer or you can actually buy paint that is made for plastic as a primer. Just squeeze out a small amount into your little egg tray here and just brush it on. Make sure that when you're doing this you're getting, getting a, getting a good coat on the entire switch plate and the screw. Now be careful when you paint over the screw that you keep it movable so that you can actually put it back into the wall. Make sure you paint into the sides of it here, because you will be coating different colors on there and you want it to be able to grab well. Remember this is craft paint, so if you get some on your hands, don't worry. It's water based, it washes off easily. Make sure when your painting your outlet that you keep those receptacles clean, free of accumulated paint otherwise you won't be able to use them. Get a good coat on, get all the corners, all the edges and let it dry. Now normally this won't take a great deal of time to dry, but if you're in a real hurry you can always use your handy dandy hairdryer. Because it works very well, works too well sometimes. Put it on low and just let it dry."
