"In this clip, we're going to talk about the kinds of switches that you may find in your home. I'm just going to take a minute and talk about the various kinds of switch plates that you might find and switches that you might find in your kitchen or any other room that you're doing. This technique is usable on all kinds of switches and switch plates. For instance this is the decor or kind of switches that are found in the newer homes. As you can see we can paint and use our technique on this kind of a switch. You can also use a toggle switch, most of your older homes have toggle switches and the technique works very well on those as well. As far as this kind of outlet, this has got a GFI on it, we can also paint on this without a problem. The only, the only thing to note, is that you must be able to access the GFI after you paint. You need to make sure that it works properly, because that is your safety factor on this. And we'll talk about this as we're painting this, and we'll show you how to use that technique in there. All the other outlets are just your standard outlet and that's the simplest one to do, and perhaps for your first one you might want to start with that one because there is no safety issues to be involved.
