Ok let's talk a little bit about aperture and how that relates to depth of field or how much of your image before and behind the subject is in focus. When we think of depth of field, if you have a small aperture, F22, F16, you're going to get more depth of field, i.e., more of your frame is going to be in focus. With a large aperture, F2.8, F4, less of your frame is going to be in focus and I'm going to show that in a minute here with Alex our model. Ok. The first couple of shots I'm going to take I'm going to shoot with F2.8, the big aperture, and that's going to pretty much take everything out of focus except for Alex which is what I'm going to be focused on. Nice Alex. Good I like that. Now, now I'm going to take a couple. I'm going to adjust the camera and I'm going to go to F16 and shoot a couple there. Nice. And on F16 you'll notice that much more of the background is in focus.
