"If I'm on offense, I have the ball with my teammates. My idea is to put this basketball in the basket, of course. The other team, if that wheelchair had a person in it, he could move as fast as I can. He doesn't want me to get too close to that basket, so I can make a shot, and he probably can stop me from getting there, but I've got other teammates. They'd come and get in his way, and then I go around them, and that's called a pick and roll, and I go to the basket, and hopefully, I can get a shot off, but there's ten guys out here doing all kinds of things, and it's not really possible to kind of describe this, and it wouldn't make sense to a person, anyway. Even an able bodied basketball coach trying to watch this, would be confused. Basketball leagues nowadays, they have a shot clock. You can't come down, and just hold the ball the whole half. Well, same thing in wheelchair basketball. Depending on the division and what not, but we have a thirty, a thirty second shot clock, and so within thirty seconds, we've got to come down, and fire up a shot, and that's just part of the game."
