They come in different millimeters, so generally most vehicles use a seven millimeter cable. You make sure you have the proper ends that go back to your right system because the ends are made different for each application. So with that being said, you can the spark plug wires are also made to like, they have a heat protection on them and noise suppression. Because when you hear the vehicle running sometimes, if there's static in your radio you can hear your engine running in the radio. So you want to make sure that you have the right millimeter wire when you do replace them. They do make high performance wires that are like from eight millimeters on up to ten millimeters, which it just gives it more spark. The more spark value, the more power and energy that you'll be receiving from your engine. And what the spark plug wire does, it takes the electronic energy from the distributor. Then you have a coil system also. The coil being right here, it sends electricity down to the distributor. Which in turn, it goes through your firing order, depending on what that is to send information to each plug to make the fire correctly. If you get them out of order once again, the car will not run properly. And that in general is what the spark plug wire's job is in the engine system."
