"In this clip, we're going to talk about the proper service procedure for changing the transmission fluid in a standard transmission. In this step, we're going to perform the actual filling procedure of our standard transmission and reinstall our fill plug. I'm going to go ahead and roll underneath the vehicle with one bottle of my fluid and my filling nipple. As you can see, trans fluid is just barely pouring out of the fill plug, that indicates I've reached the proper level. What I'll do is screw the fill plug in, screw it all the way down, hand tight, wipe off any excess and snug it down with my crescent wrench. You're going to want to pay attention to how tight your putting this nut in, being that you're screwing it into an aluminum casing and it is possible to strip that casing out if you over tighten it or cause yourself trouble, in the next thirty thousand miles, when you need to re-service your standard transmission. That is the proper method for filling of your standard trans and installing the fill plug."
