Swaddling With Swaddle Happy Blanket

"So, one of the blankets that we'll try swaddling with is called a swaddle happy blanket. And it's another blanket that's been custom designed for swaddling, the purpose of swaddling, and making swaddling easier. So, I have it spread out in front of me, and you'll notice there's a pocket that baby fits inside. So, we'll go ahead and bring our baby down. So we're resting our baby right here at the top of the blanket, it's right at the top line of his shoulders. We're going to go ahead and tuck him inside the pocket, so you might need to help guide him up a little bit, just to get his feet and legs first inside the pocket. Make sure they're nice and snug down the pocket. We're going to pull this part of the blanket up, making sure that it's covering the whole part of his body. So, we're going to swaddle with his arms nice and secure next to his sides. So, pulling this part up straight, go ahead and take this larger, longer flap, fold it all the way over, and you're going to want to give it a little bit of a tug. It's a little bit of a tight fit sometimes when it's a swaddle, so you're going to go ahead and fold it over, right over the arm. And this side has a little bit of Velcro, and it attaches right over here on this. So take it, and fold it right across and give it a little bit of a press, just to get it attached. Now, one thing that you'll notice about this blanket, being specifically designed for swaddling is that it stops right here, so there's not a big concern with the cloth covering his face because that would be a bad idea to have any of the cloth being able to cover his face, blocking any of his eyesight, or impairing any of his breathing. So, this blanket stops right here. And with a swaddle, you definitely want it nice and secure, and this feels nice and secure. So, this could be an option for you if you want to find a blanket that's very easy for swaddling. "
