"We're now going to start moving closer to lunging the horse, and therefore, closer to actually riding the horse, so before we begin, we're actually going to do what's called sacking out, and to do this, we'll start by just having a towel, and I'm just going to rub it all over him, and the idea is, if this gets in use to things like saddle pads. Once he seems comfortable with the towel, I'll use something bigger, like the saddle pad, and then we're going to take the surcingle, and just get him used to this. This is more like what a saddle would be like, and you just want him to be comfortable with different things touching parts of his body, so that when we put the saddle on, he's comfortable."
