"Once you've caught your horse the first thing we're going to work on is just leading from the left and we're going to practice walking, and stopping. Getting the horse to stop when you're body stops and so that your horse starts to watch you, and not just rely on the lead. And we'll also do a little bit of trotting so our horse also comes forward with us. And the idea is that the horse should stay right with us so that our shoulders are just about even and we'll halt, and if he doesn't halt right away then the chain comes in. And halt; yes that was a little bit better. Halt; good and halt. I don't want him biting at me, good and that was better; and then if you feel like your horse is;, listening then you can try a little bit of trot. And he should still stop when you stop."
