Locate Puncture to Fix a Flat Tire

"Now this is what you do if you come outside one day and you find that your tire is flat but you can pump it up with air and it still holds air. More than likely you have something stuck in your tire. So what you want to do is obviously you can jack your car up and take the wheel off. You want to roll the tire around until you find what has caused the leak in the tire. There are many different ways to do it. you can take a tub of water and soap and stick the tire in and roll it around until it bubbles or like this is very obvious that someone has rolled over a screw. So what you want to do, this is obvious in this case, but sometimes you might not find anything on the tire but then it could be leaking from around the seal itself between the rim and the tire so then you might have to take it to a professional shop to have the tire broke done, maybe clean out the surface inside. Sometimes they may leak through the valve stems right here, this is your valve stem where you actually put the air into the tire. Sometime the valve inside could be loose or the actually stem itself is rotted out. Somethings you may have to take to a shop to get done. In worst case, you could have a hole in the actual rim itself. So that's a big problem like if you were in the custom wheels that you couldn't find any more. So that's what you do, you find your puncture source and the next thing you do is repair it. So that concludes finding the puncture."
