"If you are a kid and you want to do voice overs my recommendation is to do plays, take improv classes and also something that I do now even though I am a grownup of course, is I listen to funny voices that I hear in the grocery store or on TV or on the radio and I try and do those voices. The first thing you need to know is how to act. So learn how to act. Take an acting class, take a, do a play something like that. And then after that you know, taking an improv class is a great way to learn how to do voice overs and improv. So those are my highest recommendations to you. Some of the fringe benefits that that I've experienced doing the voice of Naruto are that I've seen the whole world. I've gone to conventions in Toronto, and New Zealand and London, Fort Lauderdale where I am now. I've gone all over the place with these conventions and they're fantastic and I get to meet the fans which is always really fun, cause when you are doing television or film work you know, you just put it out there, it's not like a play, you don't get audience reaction. The only way you get it is to talk to people that have seen it. The other benefits I won an Emmy that's really cool as an actor that's you know a lifelong goal is to win an award like that. And I won one for Jakers The Adventures of Piggley Winks. And I'm very proud and honored to receive that. The other benefits are that you know you get to exercise your creative juices and get paid for it, I mean it's a dream job so if you get paid to do what you love then you know that's the best thing in the world, that's the best thing you can ask for. And it's Naruto I get to do what I love everyday and it's really fun."
