"Voice overs are done all over the place which is great and a lot of people now sort of email things in, do mp3's and submit back. So there are voice over actors who live in you know cities that aren't LA or New York, where they email in auditions and sometimes they'll get the job and then they can do it on a thing that's called a phone patch. So what they do is they record in the studio in their respective city and then it's sent to wherever the market is. But the main markets for voice over are Los Angeles and New York. There's stuff done in Texas for cartoons, there is stuff done in other places, there is stuff done in Canada, but what I would say the biggest, biggest market is probably Los Angeles just because a lot of the big studios are there and there are a lot of actors there that they can profile. So I think the biggest market is in Los Angeles. That doesn't mean that you can't work on voices where ever you live, and you can finesse them and you can take classes and you can email stuff, you can audition for things but you know if probably if you want to get more work, you're going to have to go to a bigger market like Los Angeles or New York."
