"Now when you're giving a gift that you've made in your kitchen, why not make your wrap in your kitchen as well. We're going to wrap a little jar in wax paper for, for sort of a shabby chic country sort of look. I love the way this looks. It's even cuter in person I wish you could see it. Well you will because you'll be using this idea I'm sure. Here's my ratty old box of wax paper. So just cut off a length of that. Other things that we're going to need are scissors and pinking shears. We'll need a glue stick for this project. A little bit of twine, and if you're going to keep with that rustic feeling twine or rope or something like that is going to be just perfect for you. I'm going to need a hole punch and optionally if you have some floral wire or paddle wire that's going to help really tighten up that wax paper when we wrap it up. I usually use pliers to tighten that so if you have it, optional of course, but if you have it it will help you. And then if you're going to make these cute little embellishments I put some little strawberries in there because this is strawberry jam inside. You're also going to need a heart shaped paper punch, or you can cut out a heart with your scissors. And I'm also going to use a star paper punch. These can be purchased from your favorite scrap booking consultant, or you can go to a scrap booking store and they have them. And they're, they're available pretty widely in craft stores too. But they're optional. I'll so you a way to do it without the punch too if you don't have those on hand. So next we're going to wrap up our jar and get started on making this project."
