"It's really important when you see a dog working in harness to remember that it is a working dog. The job it does is really, really important and if you are distracting the dog or calling the dog or trying to pet the dog in any way that could put the handlers life in danger. The dog has to really concentrate on the work that it's doing. And if your, if the dogs distracted then mistakes might well happen. So it's really important if you see a dog in harness just to watch it and not make any action. Not call the dog. Not bend down say 'hello' to the dog because it is a working dog guide. They are very appealing very cute and it's so tempting just to say 'hello'. But please remember that when you do distract a working dog. That it could make a mistake and that might end up injuring the person whose dog it is. "
