"So, a really important part of the dogs life here is an opportunity to relax and have a good run around. The training takes about six to eight months and during that time, they really concentrate hard. They have a lot of situations that they have to concentrate and so it's really important then that they get the opportunity to have a good blast, to have a good play with their kennel mates. And to burn off a bit of steam. So, here we have them playing around with each other, having some down time. Being able to relax and enjoy being just a dog, off the leash having a good run around. They come in for training at around about twelve to eighteen months of age. We have them fostered out in volunteer homes as puppies and when their old enough they'll come here for training at our Oakville facility. That training takes about six to eight months. So we name all our dogs at birth and we use the letters of the alphabet to name them. So we have an A litter, a B litter and so on. So we know every puppy in that litter is the same letter. We do have people who would like to sponsor our dogs and quite often we will then change the name for a sponsorship."
