"Hi, my name is Tom Higgins. Our next device is the CIC (or the Completely In the Canal) hearing aid, which for some people, is the most cosmetically appealing, because it absolutely disappears into the ear canal. And you have the same components. Microphone--usually CIC does not have a volume control. You have a smaller battery. You do have a little retrieval line on the instrument, which helps you in removing the instrument from your ear. And again, you have your speaker on the side. So the CIC is pretty much the smallest type hearing aid that you can get in the in-the-ear type hearing aids. "
