"In this clip, we're going to look at ear candling, which is a great way to keep your ears clean and reduce the amount of wax buildup. Especially after a heavy diet in winter, and foods rich in dairy, which can produce mucus in the body. So ear candles you can buy at any health food store, and they're really inexpensive. Just your basic ear candle. And you'll want to have one per ear, maybe two per ear, depending on the state of your ears. You might be inclined to have ears that have more wax, or less wax. You'll also want a bowl of water nearby, ok? We'll make a tray out of tin foil to catch the ashes. And it's not recommended that you ear candle alone. You'd like to do it with a friend. If you happen to find yourself alone, you'll want a mirror so you can see what you're doing. You'll need to make a tray, to catch any ashes that might fall from the candle. You can use a paper plate, or you can make a tray out of tin foil. You just need a square sized shape. Once you've got your tray shape, you'll poke a hole through the center of it for the candle. You want to get it to be a pretty close fit. And with your bowl of water nearby, and your mirror in hand, you're ready to go. "
