""OK, if someone has acne-prone skin or during that hormonal time of the month, where they are just in different places, would they apply a hot towel first and then put on the treatment?" They could apply a hot towel, especially, if they're planning on doing some extractions to their own skin, by wrapping their finger in the tissues. However, in most cases, as long as, the skin is clean, they can then put their acne treatments or their acne products onto the skin. Then, it'll work just fine, but it's not necessary to put a hot towel on your face. "OK, I'm ready, let's 'iron'." OK, so, these are the smoothing 'irons'. Now, when they come into contact with the skin, it's going to be a little cool. I am going to try and warm these up. Alright. "So the more melanin in the skin, the more sensitive, so the more you'll cool it?" Right, the more melanin the skin has, the more sensitive it is. Also, the easier it is to scar. So, you want to keep in mind, that when you are doing your own extractions, not to 'pick at' your skin. Especially, if you have African-American skin, Latino or Asian skin, they all hyper-pigment and scar more easily, so hence, you want to be very careful when you are doing your own extractions. You don't want to 'dig a hole', necessarily, in your skin and you don't want to 'pick at' it. You want to just gently squeeze and roll your fingers, so that it removes the debris, without causing any damage to the skin. "And will visits to the spa for facials, will it help to . . . for people who already have scars and things like that on their face, that they were trying to remove. Will that help to lighten it?" Oh yes, definitely! There are also lightening products that you can use, which will help to lighten the dark spots. A lot of times, people, who had acne as teenagers, will develop a lot of the dark spots on the skin, from old acne. If you use a skin lightening serum or you also can get exfoliating treatments, like microdermabrasion, this will help to lighten those spots. "OK, so this is what to expect at the spa?" "This was really great!" Isn't it nice. "OK, so, I have some more questions." OK. "Right after this." Well, that's it. "
