"In this clip we're going to talk about the proper way to diagnose, remove, and replace a faulty windshield wiper motor. In this step we're going to talk about the proper service procedure for reconnecting our wiper motor, hooking our battery up, and performing the test to verify our repair. Going to take and fish out our wiper motor connector, right here, we're going to slip it in and listen, and feel until it fully seats in its connector. Right there. Take my negative battery terminal, you're always going to want to always disconnect the negative, and hook it back up. We're going to tighten it down, only until it stops spinning. As you can see I can't turn the battery terminal, which indicates that it's more than tight enough. I'm going to reach back and turn the key on and run the wipers through their various settings, and make sure that they all work. There's my low setting, and my high setting. That is the proper way to reconnect your wiper motor, your battery, and verify your repair."
