"When you're cutting out pieces for background space, you can really kind of go for a theme, if you want to. I've gone through magazines at different times (you want to get your scissors) and I've gone through magazines at times, sometimes with the fashion magazines, you can find really, really great colors. So, you can just cut out blues and you'll see a series a lot of the time where they'll do it. So, you can just cut out pieces of paper in geometric shapes. And then you can just kind of lay them down. So, if I was going to be doing a small board, I could have blue...and then at one time I had this bamboo thing going that I found so I cut out some bamboo. So, you can kind of make a background collage of different color and make it kind of artsy, and then you can put your pictures on top of it. So, you can pick grass, if you want to go earthy, depending on where you want to go. So, there are all kinds of things that you can do. Now, for the four that we're doing today, it's all about money. So, I want to cut out money. I have these little clipper things. Here's three thousand dollars, I want three thousand dollars, you want three thousand dollars? You probably want more than three thousand dollars but you know, we can just have a lot of money of different prices all over the place. And then, here's a hundred and three dollars, I'll take a hundred and three dollars. We can have that...So you just want to cut things out that are going to be fun and sometimes you may just want to take elements like, out of here I can just--I'm not going to take the little cent thing, but I can certainly take some dollar signs. Just cut out the little dollar signs because I want my background to all be money. So, I'm going to cut out dollar signs and I'll have dollar signs as my background. That will be cool, because I can make it kind of like wallpaper behind what I'm going to be doing. So, when it comes to the background, you can even take a pretty sunset and you can actually just take an entire photograph, if you want to take an entire photograph and use that as a background for your vision board. You really got to be creative when it comes to this part of it. You can go with a color theme if you're matching something. For people who are into feng shui, sometimes they use different colors for certain things. So, if you're doing money, you may want to use a lot of purples--I like using green because it reminds me of dollar bills. If you're doing relationships, you may want to do a lot of pinks and reds, and I'm probably going to use a pink board today for mine because I want my relationship with money to be fantastic and pink is a really good relationship color. So, when you're picking your background pieces and you're looking at that, you can get really abstract and you can be creative, and you can make this a lot of fun."
