"The very last pose in our asana sequence for reviving and waking up in the morning is your choice of an inversion. You can do a headstand, handstand, or you can even do a forearm stand. I'm going to do a headstand just for demonstration purposes. If you are comfortable with headstand, you want to do forearm stand or handstands then just knock yourself out. Only not really. You want to feel good. You want to feel strong and confident in these poses, but inversions are so energizing, they are so powerful. Reversing the flow of blood bringing it into the brain. Stimulating the brain, stimulating the heart so I really feel like inversions are key to our asana sequence for reviving and waking up. You can do these, of course, against the wall. I'm just going to demonstrate here headstand clasping the hands. I'm using my forearms on the floor. Crown of my head I'm placing in my hands and I'm going to use my belly as I come on up feeling that alignment, extending the legs, staying here as long as you're comfortable. Against the wall, whatever you want to do. Oh am I going to kick the shelf. And, of course, coming down when you're ready. Extending the neck, coming into child's pose and make your way into a shavasana. Just a gentle, light, shavasana to conclude your asana practice. Good morning. Na mas day. Have a wonderful day."
