"In this step, we're going to talk about the proper procedure for remounting your license plate and your last rear lamp. Your license plate bracket is going to mount through the mounting holes for your lamp. As you can see, we have some studs here on the lamp, they're going to go through and hold down the other side. Our new kit came with a new license plate mounting bracket. As you can see, they're identical. Being that we already have one mounted to our plate, I'm not going to install the new one, however, if you don't have one, you going to want to remove the bolts here and here, reinstall your plate bracket like so, and then tighten the bolts down. You always want it to be stepping forward. As you can see, it's stepping down and then forward, for your license plate, like so. That way your license plate illumination light will shine down onto your plate. And that's the law; your license plate has to be illuminated anytime you drive the trailer. I'm just going to go ahead and spin off the mounting bolt. Slide this through my license plate mounting bracket, like so, make sure not to pinch our wiring, and then mount it on the trailer. Just like so. Going to install a lock washer, and a retaining nut, spin them down finger tight, I'm going to install the second lock washer and my second retaining nut. Make sure not to pinch our wiring. I'm going to take my quarter inch socket wrench with the ten millimeter socket. Go ahead and snug those up, and there you go. From here, we're going to g ahead and proceed connecting the wiring in the exact same fashion we did on the other side, with our heat shrink, water proof connectors and our terminal pliers. That is the proper way to remount your license plate bracket and your last rear mount lamp assembly."
