Making a Chinese Rock Garden: Sprinkle Sand

"Okay now that we have our craft wood painted you're going to take your sand and you're going to start to sprinkle it across. And you just want to get a nice layer of sand on into your rock garden. And you can just start spreading that out. All across here. Make sure that the majority of that paint is covered. You can have some of the color poking through but you want to have a good layer on there for your rake to run through. So I'm just going to use my fingers to smooth that out and get a good layer going across. You can always add more or take it out. That's never a problem. Once you've got all that sand in there you're going to be ready to start adding your rocks to complete the look of your Chinese garden."
