on 5/27/2009 What do you do when counterclockwise rotation doesn't loosen clamp? For example, the clamp screw comes out but it doesn't loosen the actual clamp from intake?

"In this clip, we're going to talk about the proper service procedure for removing and reinstalling your vehicle's radiator. In this step, we're going to talk about the proper service procedure for removing the air intake duct work. On most vehicles, most standard mounted engines, the duct work is going to run up the front and over this way. What I mean by standard mounted engines is the engine is in line with the drive line. Most vehicles that are that way are rear wheel drive. A front wheel drive vehicle you may or may not have to remove this assembly. What we're going to do is just screw off these cover bolts. There you go. Take my cover off and set it to the side for later reinstallation. Go ahead and begin loosening the hose clamps that hold the intake on. Wiggle this portion off. I'm going to go ahead and hit this one over here. They're your typical style hose clamp. They're going to take most commonly a 5/16ths socket or an 8 millimeter. You can also use a flat blade screwdriver if you want. Go ahead and wiggle this guy loose just like so. If your vehicle is so equipped with a vent tube like this one, you're going to slip it off the fill neck for your oil system; you're going to want to use a twisting motion on it to break it free. And there you go. We're going to take and set our duct work aside for later reinstallation. That is the proper way to remove this system."
