Now this Malong is actually borrowed by the Tiboli people from their neighbor who is the Maguindanao people, and they use it to dance the ritual called Madal Unok. Madal Unok is actually about the bird Unok and this dance is usually dance together with another smaller dancer or child to represent the baby bird. Now this dance together with the hunter simulates the hunting, and it's actually dance during, before the hunting season opens at the Tiboli area where nature is very revered by the Tibolis. Now, we will show you how this Unok dance or Madal Unok, Madal means dance, how it's being dance and actually as part of the ritual. And in the whole dance, the hunter who tried to hunt the baby bird will actually simulate dying.
