"In this clip, we're going to start teaching you some basic steps of Odissi dance. The syllabus I follow, goes through eight sets of steps. And the first milestone is steps one through three. There are different components to that. We will show you a few. But before that, I will show you the notes that I'm going to chant. In counts of sixteen. Ta, Ithi, Na, Thri, Ki, Te, Te. Ta, Ithi, Na, Thri, Ki, Te, Te. Ta, Ithi, Na, Thri, Ki, Te, Te. Dhai, Dhai, Na Thi, Na, Tri, Ki, Dhina. Change. Ta, Ithi, Na, Thri, Ki, Te, Te. Ta, Ithi, Na, Thri, Ki, Te, Te. Ta, Ithi, Na, Thri, Ki, Te, Te. Dhai, Dhai, Na Thi, Na, Tri, Ki, Dhina. Steps one through three are done in three speeds. Today Roopa will show you steps one through three.
