"Half cab 180 heel flip. Half cab 180 heel flip is a great combination trick or a variation to the half cab flip. What you are doing basically is replacing the kick flip with a heel flip. So, now the board is going to flip the other way as you do a half cab flip. Now, the way that you do this is you set up rolling fakie in a heel flip position with your foot on the tail ready to do the fakie ollie. You'll want to bring your weight around so that you can travel 180. The upper body tells the lower body what to do and also the way that your eyes look will also tell your body how to move. So, as I turn half cab 180 my heel flip starts to begin after I hit the tail and I extend my foot. You notice the board is flipping the opposite way. It heel flips around and then you land and you roll away forward. A half cab heel flip 180 is going to require you to know how to do half cab 180 ollies, some variations of the heel flip; although they're not necessary. Some people have a knack for half cab heel flips or some certain tricks even though they don't know the root trick, but the more you know about the heel flip the better equipped you'll be for the half cab heel flip. And, of course, the better that you are at most flip tricks the better you'll have the timing to figure out the half cab heel flip."
