"Some of the tricks that you'll have to learn before you learn how to half cab backside 180, will be you'll need to learn how to fakie ollie, and that's ollie, fakie, and land back in fakie, and you'll also have to learn how to roll and turn 180 and just do a half cab on the flat ground, that's just a half cab, that's not a half cab 180 ollie. So the best way to learn this is just either to start not moving and to test out the movement, or you can actually roll in the fakie position and practice turning backside 180 without hitting your tail and ollying, just pivoting on your back wheels. So what you can do is, stand on your board and begin to swing your arms in the motion that you're going to need to do this trick. This will totally help you in learning how to shift your weight from your upper body and swing your arms and have your lower body follow through and go into the backside motion. "
