"In this clip on how to audition for a Broadway show, I'm going to, Broadway play, I'm going to talk about another exercise. Something else you can do while you're waiting in line to help you get ready. So once again, you've done your warm ups, you've done your homework, your objective journey, all of that, you've even done some creative leading. And now you can really make the person you're talking to real. OK, so I'm doing my monologue from Queens Boulevard, I'm talking to my friend. My best friend. So to make her real, in the room, and I do this while I'm waiting in line, I talk silently to myself. I would say, use, I want to invoke my best friend using my senses. So I will say, what does her hair look like? And then I see the answer. What does, what does she smell like? And I'm smelling, and I smell it. I don't answer the question, I ask the questions and I experience the answers. What is her shoulder feel like as I tap her shoulder? What does her clothing feel like? What does she, what does the sound of her voice sound like? Where is she looking? So I'm asking myself questions. And this is a way that you can make the person You're talking to real for you. Right before you go in. Make that person real and you will have such, so much more of a better audition."
