"In this clip on how to audition for a Broadway play, I'm going to talk about how do you find the auditions? Where are they? You can't just go roaming Broadway and hope to stumble upon an audition and get into Broadway, no, you have to be a little more organized than that. I suggest you go to ActorsEquity.org. I'm a member of the Actors Equity Association, so all the union theater auditions are going to be on this website, and all Broadway plays are union shows. ActorsEquity.org will list all the upcoming auditions, where they are, character breakdown, yada, yada, yada. Also, Backstage is a newspaper that comes out once a week and that has all the auditions, union and non-union, so that's another incredible resource, and it's also on-line, Backstage.com. Variety is another magazine that lists auditions, but I'd say that Backstage and ActorsEquity.org are the most used resources, so that's really where you need to go. So, you can just sit at home on the internet and you can surf and you can do complicated searches, and you can search however you want. ActorsEquity.org, Backstage.com, most used resources."
