"In this clip on how to audition for a Broadway play, I'm going to talk about building your resume. It's really important that you go out there and you get experience in community theater, in off-off Broadway and off Broadway if you can. I mean, it's also really important that you get an education in theater and you can, if you don't have, on, off Broadway experience you can put on your resume experience college plays and things like that. So community theater, college theater, high school theater, all of that builds your resume. Sure, there's stories of people jumping from nothing to Broadway and that can very well happen but most likely, they need to see that you have a lot of experience, that you've really been climbing the ladder of success pretty efficiently and consecutively. So go out there and, and audition for your local, your church plays, your school plays, your community theater, your fringe festivals, get real experience, see if you love it, build your resume, build something solid, even if it's a church play, you can put that on a resume. So go out there and audition for everything you can."
