"In this clip, we are going to be doing some detailing and the first thing you are going to want to do is first you want to clearly define all the edges of your drawing. You are going to want to come in and really make it pop off the page as much as possible. So, I'm using a thicker pointed marker and kind of going over all my outer lines really quick just to make sure that everything kind of pops off the way it should. Clearly define everything and it just looks better. Now once this step is done my suggestion is to work your way from the top all the way to the bottom. Just get your fine tipped pen back there again and really kind of get in there and punch up the details, clearly define your armor and make it shine. Come in here and draw maybe a little bit of a pattern inside the parts of the armor that seem small and sort of insignificant at first. And make everything very clearly defined, just like the belt, come in here and make it look a little bit more interesting I guess, visually interesting. Because I mean right now there are a lot of sections that are just kind of dull and boring. You know, give it some detailing and kind of make it look like a craftsman took his time and kind of took a lot of pride in designing the armor for this soldier. Also it is the perfect opportunity to fix any little mistakes that you might have made as well and you really sort of fancy up the look of everything. Go in and add detailing to the shield. That helps make the final outcome look just more visually stimulating, kind of a pattern. And obviously you want to take your time and do something to fit the look of the design that you have going but you see what I mean like back in the day they took a lot of effort and energy crafting the looks of their suits of armor. It was their livelihood, a lot of them it was their life's work, some of these craftsmen. When they were commissioned to design a suit of armor for a soldier it was considered to be a very high honor. So take the time and kind of make that show is basically what I am saying. Then when you are done you should have something you should be proud to show people and maybe you know like the first step in creating like a series or a story that you had in your mind. So at this point after you get some of the detailing done I would say you are good. We have got our soldier here and he's looking pretty set and ready to go, ready for battle. So at this point let's move on to an entirely different section of the series and learn how to draw maybe the object of his quest, the fair maiden. So go ahead and move on to the next clip."
