"Okay, I just demonstrated playing a C major scale while tonguing. Another technique used in every piece of music is called slurring where there is no articulation between one note and the next. Basically you are just playing just like I was playing before. You are going to play along and we can try the C scale and we are going to be slurring the whole thing with no tongue involved so I would like to just demonstrate that for you real fast so you can hear that. A little slower. You hear there is no tongue involved with that one it is just real cleanly going from note to note. It is just a smooth sound. In every tune you hear you will have some slurring going on. So get that down."
