"Hi, I'm Robbie Hurtado, here to talk to you today about careers in truck driving class A and class B. First of all to become a class A truck driver, class A being the highest level of trucking that you can have, you must have a valid class C license and study and get the DOJ which is through the Department of Justice background check. Once you pass that, we'll accept you in the training program. Here we have Train For Your Future; meaning that you can start off with your class As, train get a big rig and you can have your own trailing; be your own entrepreneur in truck driving. And the benefits from training is wonderful. People that have known that when you're on the road, that you have had a hundred and thirty six hours of on the road training pass the test and the background check like I said earlier for through the Department of Justice and you can get your doubles and Haz-Mats to work in a refinery along with your TWIC's card which is the Transportations Worker Identification Card and that they work under Homeland Security. And for your future which is the real awesome is you can own your own industry going to an industry that is here to stay; that is not affected by any workforce economy. These are wonderful things here and the truck driving school that I'm holding out right now is one that we mostly use here in West County, it's American Truck School. We seen all of our people who are dislocated workers or who want to train, change occupations and already have a class C license. It's wonderful career to, an opportunity to get into. So I would consider this one as well. And then we have another one here which is what we call our class B license driver which is EMT, just a whole host of things you can do with your class B. You can do delivery, pier transit, school bus drivers which means you have to get your passenger endorsement and your CPR, First Aid and you can drive a bus. It's a whole ray of things you can, career that you can choose from with your class B license. This is with Michael's Transportation who has a, oh God, a wonderful, wonderful training opportunity for class B drivers. This also have the big contract with our local bus company here in West County and you can drive, oh have you ever heard, "Leave the drive into us, go Greyhound". You can even become a tour bus trainer; I'm sorry tour bus driver. So these are all the wonderful careers and futuristic careers you can have driving as a class B driver and class A."
