With computer technology on the rise, everything is faster and more expediate, till. Now you know, we used to have a filing system where we would file medical records. And we would go on looking to file for, to bill, medical billing and coding. Well, now they have a position called a Medical Biller or E-filer, E-Medical Records and it's a new position, a new occupation, excuse me. That starts off paying at least, anywhere from fifty to sixty thousand dollars. And it takes the place of medical records clerk. Just imagine, you're in the ER, a strange hospital, a strange doctor. He needs to get your medical chart to him as fast as he can, for an emergency surgery. Well, by the time they fax it, go through a medical chart, find someone to go in the office. They'll just, are just to standardize surgery exploratory. Well you know, the point I'm trying to get to. With this new technology or this new way of sending Emails straight to the ERs. The ER or the Medical Records Technologists can go on-line, type in and pull in your medical records, right in front of, right during the surgery. So the physician or the surgeon can find whatever the bleeding or whatever they need to stop the emergency. So that's just an example of the way the careers are going towards health technology and medical billing and coding is another. It almost takes the position from medical transcribing. Well, what they're doing is, a medical biller and coder is, people are leaving the career field from accounting and going to medical billing and coding. Because it pays much more money and they are high in demand and they're here to stay. That position starts off at nineteen dollars an hour. So this is just a little information to tell you about the new careers in health technology."
